The Economic Analysis Team for the Ashland Business Resource Portal will be creating a measurement tool to take a pulse of the local and regional economy on a quarterly basis.  They will be establishing benchmarks such as employment by industries, building permits, SOU enrollment, real estate sales, unemployment rate, OSF ticket sales, collections of TOT (Transient Occupancy Tax), Food & Beverage Tax and other statistics that will give our community leaders and business owners valuable information about our economy.  News stories will be developed from the analysis of this data and will be featured on the portal.  The Team will include Guy Tauer, Regional Economist (Oregon Employment Department), Adam Hanks (City of Ashland), Jack Vitacco (Small Business Development Center), Larry Holzgang (Business Oregon), Rebecca Reid (economic analyst) and staff of Dana Preston and Sandra Slattery.
